Homemade Alu Puri Aren’t we all missing it out the roadside snacks every evening? So why not make them at home to sooth our cravings? ◽️ INGREDIENTS 🔸 2 medium sized potato 🔸 1 table spoon chopped coriander 🔸 1 cup flour/ maida 🔸 1 teaspoon chili powder 🔸 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 🔸 salt to taste 🔸 finely chopped onions, black pepper and diced chili optional . ◽️Process 1.Boil 2 medium sized potatoes with water and mash them properly. Your puris wont puff properly if you do not make a fine mash. . 2. In a mixing bowl add flour, mashed potato, salt, chopped coriander, chili powder, turmeric powder and a warm water and mix well. . 3. Mix until you real fine porata consistency and coat it with a thin layer or oil and cover it with a wet kitchen towel for sometime or until the dough rises. . 4. Shape it into small round shapes or any other desired shape and deep fry it in a pan. . 5. Sit and enjoy freshly made alu puris. . Note: you can make it in batches and store in deep fridge which can be eaten later on.
